Title: Project Manager - Water/Wastewater Treatment Plants
Location: Charlotte, NC
Salary:
$120,000 - $150,000 + bonus, depending on experience

Samuel James Recruitment is partnering with a well-established, family-owned water and wastewater treatment plant contractor to hire an experienced Project Manager.
They self-perform their concrete, process piping, mechanical and site work. As PM you run the job with your own field teams rather than managing a stack of subs. Their pipeline is long-term, multi-year plant work for municipal clients across several states.
You’ll work out of whichever of their three regional offices suits you: the Charlotte area, Ohio or Central Florida.
What you’ll do:
Run water and wastewater treatment plant projects from preconstruction through closeout
Own schedule, budget, change orders and cost reporting
Lead the relationship with owners, engineers and inspectors
Work closely with the superintendent and self-perform crews to keep the job on track
What they’re looking for:
5+ years as a Project Manager on water or wastewater treatment plants
Experience running projects of $15M and above
Self-perform GC background preferred, CM background considered
Strong understanding of process piping, concrete structures and plant startup
What’s on offer:
