Job description
Top Ag Cooperative is looking for a dedicated, safety-minded Propane Driver & Service Technician to join our team in Venedy, IL. In this role, you'll deliver propane and provide installation, maintenance, and repair services for residential and agricultural propane systems - directly supporting the local farmers and communities we serve.
nnWhat You'll Do
nnSafely deliver propane and install, inspect, and maintain customer tanks and systems
nDiagnose and troubleshoot propane system issues for residential and agricultural customers
nRespond to service calls, including after-hours emergencies when needed
nAccurately complete work orders, tank leases, and billing documentation
nProvide prompt, courteous customer service and keep customers informed on safe product handling
nMaintain vehicles, tools, and facilities to high safety and cleanliness standards
nUphold and promote safety compliance (OSHA, EPA, DOT, and company policies)
n nnWhat We're Looking For
nnHigh school diploma or GED required
nValid Class A or B CDL with HazMat and Tanker endorsements
n1+ years of experience in propane, HVAC, or a related service/delivery field preferred
nCETP certification required within 6 months of hire; NH3 Competent Attendant Training required
nStrong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
nEffective communicator - verbal and written
nAbility to lift up to 60 lbs and work in varying outdoor conditions
nWillingness to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
