Key Responsibilities & Duties Financial Reporting & General Ledger
Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statement packages for assigned commercial properties (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
Reconcile general ledger accounts, bank statements, and tenant accounts receivable continuously.
Monitor cash positions, track property cash flow, and manage wire/ACH transactions.
Prepare and enter standard month-end journal entries (accruals, prepaid expenses, depreciation, and deferred rent).
Accounts Receivable & Tenant Billing
Review lease agreements to accurately set up tenant billing schedules, base rent, and rental escalations.
Manage Accounts Receivable (A/R) processes, post tenant payments, and reconcile aged receivable ledgers.
Perform annual CAM (Common Area Maintenance), tax, and insurance reconciliations and process adjustment billings to tenants.
Accounts Payable & Expense Management
Oversee Accounts Payable (A/P) coding, vendor payment approvals, and weekly check runs.
Track capital expenditure projects, major repairs, and construction costs against budgets.
