Property & Casualty Insurance SpecialistLocation: Fishkill, NY (100% on-site) Employment Type: Full-Time | Direct Hire Salary: $50,000–$65,000 annually, based on experience Schedule: Monday–Friday 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM or 9:00 AM – 5:00 PMJob OverviewWe are seeking a customer-focused Property & Casualty Insurance Specialist to join a growing insurance team in Fishkill, NY. This role supports both new and existing personal lines clients by providing exceptional service, processing policy changes, quoting new business, and helping maintain long-term client relationships. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with personal lines insurance experience who are looking to grow their careers in a professional, relationship-driven environment.ResponsibilitiesService personal lines insurance accounts and assist clients with coverage needsRespond to calls, emails, and in-office inquiries regarding policy changes, renewals, and new insurance requestsPrepare quotes for new business and assist with policy reviewsProcess endorsements, cancellations, reinstatements, and account updatesEducate clients on coverage options, policy changes, exclusions, and potential exposuresRemarket accounts when appropriate to provide competitive coverage solutionsMaintain accurate client records and document all communicationsBuild client relationships and assist with retention effortsGenerate referrals and support new business development initiativesCollaborate with carriers, producers, and agency staff to provide excellent customer serviceQualifications & ExperienceProperty & Casualty (P&C) License preferredCandidates without a license will be considered if they have 1–3 years of insurance industry experience and are willing to obtain their licensePrevious experience in personal lines insurance, insurance customer service, account management, or agency support preferredStrong communication and relationship-building skillsExcellent attention to detail and organizational abilitiesProficiency with Microsoft Office and agency management softwareAbility to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environmentHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredWhy Join This Opportunity?Direct hire opportunity with long-term growth potentialCompetitive salary based on experienceStable weekday scheduleOpportunity to obtain licensing and advance your insurance careerSupportive, team-oriented environmentMix of customer service, account management, and business development responsibilities
