Portfolio Manager — Proprietary Trading
We're partnering with an established proprietary trading firm on a search for a Portfolio Manager to run risk on their own capital. This is a risk-taking seat with full autonomy over your book.
This is not portfolio management in the asset management sense, and it is not execution. You need attributable P&L in dollars from a book you ran yourself, not benchmark-relative returns.
Responsibilities
Run your own book and your own risk with full discretion over strategy and sizing
Take directional and relative value positions across your chosen products
Manage risk in real time, including sizing, hedging and adjusting exposure through changing conditions
Develop and scale your own strategies without a fixed house model
Requirements
4+ years of profitable P&L in dollars
Experience running your own risk rather than executing for others
Depth in one or more of: equity options and volatility, capital structure arbitrage, listed derivatives, ETFs and index arbitrage, FX, macro or EM FX. Other products considered where the track record is strong
Comfort with data and execution tooling
Track record of performing in a high pressure, results driven environment
