Maughan Prosthetics & Orthotics is a patient-focused private practice serving the South Sound region of Washington. Our team is dedicated to delivering exceptional prosthetic and orthotic care while maintaining strong relationships with surgeons, rehabilitation facilities, and therapy providers.

Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated Certified Prosthetist/Orthotist (CPO) or Certified Orthotist (CO) to join our growing clinical team. This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population while building strong referral relationships with local physicians and rehabilitation facilities.
The ideal candidate is clinically strong, patient-focused, and motivated to contribute to a growing practice.
Responsibilities
Evaluate patients and develop appropriate prosthetic and orthotic treatment plans
Perform prosthetic and orthotic fittings, adjustments, and follow-up care
Fabricate or oversee fabrication of prosthetic and orthotic devices
Maintain detailed clinical documentation and patient records
Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and care teams to optimize patient outcomes
Participate in outreach and relationship building with referral sources
Maintain compliance with Medicare and insurance documentation requirements
Qualifications
ABC or BOC Certification (CPO or CO)
Master’s degree in Prosthetics & Orthotics or completion of accredited residency
Strong clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
Washington state licensure (or ability to obtain)
Preferred Experience
Experience with lower limb prosthetics (Pediatric & Adult)
Clinical Exposure to Cranial Helmets
Post-op care
Comfort working with multidisciplinary rehabilitation teams
