Armed Protective Security Officer (PSO)This opportunity is contingent upon contract award. Security Watch, Inc. is compiling a list of current and available Armed Protective Security Officers (PSOs) and security management personnel located throughout the State of West Virginia for potential staffing of federal facility security posts.Key Responsibilities:Maintaining effective relationships with clients and guestsReporting safety concerns and security breachesHandling security issues and emergenciesFamiliarizing with specific operations and manualsGreeting visitors and employeesBeing adaptable to changing environmentsPatrolling the facilityAnswering phones and monitoring security systemsFollowing DHS security protocolsEnsuring the security of stakeholdersPerforming Access Control and Screening DutiesExecuting emergency closure proceduresProviding roving guard services and Perimeter and Interior patrolProviding escort and courier servicesAssisting in plans and procedures in the event of a major catastropheRequirements:Compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local licensing requirements.At least 21 years oldHigh school diploma or GEDTwo years of armed security experience (police, law enforcement, civilian, etc.), or 3 to 5 years of military or National Guard (active duty or reserve), or equivalent experience in armed security servicesFirearm experienceDHS Homeland Security Clearance (preferred)Excellent interpersonal and communication skillsFluent in EnglishAbility to work independently or as part of a teamProfessional appearance and demeanorAbility to provide quality customer service and handle emergenciesPass a pre-employment background check, drug screen, physical exam, and reference checkObtain a DHS Suitability Letter ClearancePrior DHS contract PSO experience (preferred)Pass a drug testUndergo basic medical screening21 years of age and a citizen of the United StatesBenefits:Dental insurance, Health insurance, Paid time off, Vision insuranceCompany Information: Security Watch, Inc. is a leading provider of professional services to clients in the federal government and military sectors.
