Job description
Prototype Tool OperatorPrepare prototype tools for producing samples.Key Duties and Responsibilities:1. Operate various pieces of processing equipment to complete sample, including drill, press brake, sheer, etc.2. Work with designer to review sample and ensure fit and function.3. Interpret blueprints, specifications, diagrams or schematics to determine appropriate welding process.4. Inspect completed welds to determine structural soundness.5. Start up and shut down machines properly.6. Consistently and safely operate machines at or above standards of operation including waste, quality, efficiency and utilization.7. Troubleshoot, identify and correct machine/rack-related problems through proper adjustments to various parts of the machine.8. Work in a safe and efficient manner using all personal protective, safety equipment and devices that are required, in accordance with all documentation.9. Be actively involved in Continuous Improvement; promote and sustain any and all CI, 5S and STW activities.10. Contribute to a team effort.11. Maintain a safe and clean work environment.12.
