About this opportunity

Mindful Healing Works lists this PRP Coordinator (Rosedale) opportunity in rosedale, Maryland. Review the employer’s description below for duties, qualifications and application requirements.

Job description

Mindful Healing Works Wellness Center (MHWWC) is a wellness-focused, multi-disciplinary mental health agency providing individual, family, and group therapy, medication management, and a Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program (PRP). Our primary population includes Medicaid and our mission is to change the landscape of mental healthcare by making high-quality, elevated care accessible to everyone, not just those who can afford it.

Every MHWWC location features the Mindful Café and signature The MindSpa, a serene space featuring complimentary wellness amenities (Hydromassage Chairs, RelaxSpace Meditation Pods, and Zenergy Mats). By creating intentional spaces where clients can reset and regulate their nervous systems, we help people move out of survival mode and into a place where real change becomes possible.

We're looking for a PRP Coordinator to join our team. This is the person who actually sits with our clients. Therapy happens in the room for an hour. PRP is everything that happens the rest of the week: getting to appointments, keeping a routine, handling stress at school or work, building relationships, and finding the resources in their own neighborhood. You'll walk alongside adults and kids while they build the skills to live the life they want, in their own community.

This is a full-time, hybrid W-2 role serving clients across both of our locations, Rosedale and Dundalk, and out in the community.

What You'll Do

Direct Client Services

Carry your own caseload of adults and youth enrolled in PRP.

Meet clients where they are: at our offices, in their homes, at school, and out in the community.

Teach and practice daily living skills: self-care, routines, managing a home, budgeting, using transportation, and handling stress.

Help youth build healthy relationships with peers, family, and teachers, and support parents and caregivers along the way.

Connect clients to community resources such as housing, employment, education, benefits, and support groups, and help them actually use them.

Groups

Plan and run PRP groups on topics like coping skills, social skills, wellness, and independent living.

Rehabilitation Planning

Work with clients to set goals in their Individual Rehabilitation Plan (IRP) and carry out the activities in it.

Track progress and share updates with the PRP Specialist so plans stay current.

Collaboration

Coordinate with each client's therapist and nurse practitioner, with the client's permission, so we care for the whole person.

Take part in team meetings and supervision with the PRP Specialist.

Documentation & Compliance

Complete accurate, timely progress notes for every contact.

Follow HIPAA, Maryland PRP regulations, Medicaid requirements, and agency policies.

Notice early warning signs and follow agency safety and crisis procedures.

Qualifications

At least one of the following: a bachelor's or associate's degree in psychology, social work, human services, or a related health field; 30 college credit hours toward a bachelor's in a related field; or one year of work in a supervised mental health setting.

Experience working with adults, children, or families in behavioral health, PRP, case management, or community settings is a plus.

A valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and comfort working out in the community.

Strong organization and the ability to manage a schedule across two locations.

Warm, steady, and real. You leave people better than you found them.

Ability to pass a background check.

Compensation & Benefits

Full-time, W-2 salary starting at $50,000 per year

Two weeks paid time off

40 hours sick leave

6 paid holidays per year

Health, vision, dental and life insurance with a company contribution

Opportunity to enroll in short-term and long-term disability

Regular supervision and training from our PRP Specialist

Full access to The MindSpa
