If this sounds like a good fit for you, we are seeking applicants for a Psychosocial Rehabilitation Specialist (PSR) - Case Aide to join our Child and Family Services team. This position will be located at our Boise office.

nThe Idaho Department of Health & Welfare is a drug-free workplace. Any applicant offered employment in this position at the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare will be required to pass a pre-employment drug test. In addition, successful candidates will be required to complete a criminal history background investigation. Employment is dependent upon satisfactory results of the investigation.

nEXAMPLE OF DUTIES:

nnnScheduling parent and family meetings

n

nnCompleting child and family history forms

n

nnRequesting records from outside providers

n

nnWhen needed, assisting in transporting children to appointments

n

nnData entry and documentation

n

n nMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

nYou must possess all the minimum qualifications below to pass the exam for this position. It is highly recommended to attach a one-page cover letter to your application to demonstrate how you meet the requirements below.

nnnGood knowledge of human services principles and practices including behavioral management methods, social and family systems, cognitive behavioral education and case management methods. Typically gained by a certification as a psychosocial rehabilitation specialist in accordance with USPRA requirements OR bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, behavioral science, special education, psychosocial rehabilitation, healthcare, criminal justice or related field from a nationally accredited university or college OR 2-4 upper division courses as stated above AND 2-4 years’ work experience OR experience that represents the knowledge level above.

nnComputer literacy for data entry, electronic mail, composing reports and letters, and storing and retrieving documents.

n
