Job Details: Job Location: Meadowview Behavioral Hospital - Peoria, IL 61615, Position Type: Per Diem, Salary Range: $67.00 - $77.00 Hourly, Travel Percentage: Negligible, Job Shift: Any, JOIN OUR TEAM AS A PSYCHIATRIC NURSE PRACTITIONER (PMHNP-BC)! Status: PRN
Your Work Matters How will you make a difference?
Completes follow-up visits after the initial assessment.
Participates in staffing weekly and family sessions as needed.
Prescribes pharmacologic interventions as necessary.
Reviews all applicable laboratory and diagnostic test results.
Consults with the attending psychiatrist when necessary.
Makes referrals for further diagnostic psychological or medical testing as needed.
As appropriate, communicates with patients, patients’ families, and others to obtain personal and social information pertinent to the patients’ treatment.
Prepares documentation in accordance with MBH’s policies and all regulatory and accrediting bodies.
Your Experience Matters What we’re looking for:
Education: Completion of a Master’s Program (Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner) from an accredited school of nursing.
Licensure: Current licensure as a Registered Nurse and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in the State of Illinois.
Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of clinical experience in a psychiatric setting.
Additional Skill Requirements: Successful completion of CPR certification and CPI training within 30 days of employment, prior to assisting with restraining procedures.

Compensation:
