You will work with a nursing team to deliver safe, respectful, and attentive service. As a Psychiatric Aide, you will perform the following duties:Individual Care Support: Use individual-centered approaches to assist with personal care tasks and daily living activitiesHealth Monitoring: Take and record vital signs, observe changes, and report concerns to nursing staffMobility Assistance: Help individuals move safely, including positioning, ambulating, and escorting them to activities and appointmentsEmergency Response: Provide basic first aid and assist during medical or psychiatric emergencies using approved procedures and techniquesProgram Participation: Supervise and support individuals during leisure activities and nursing programsLiving Space Maintenance: Assist individuals with keeping living areas clean, organized, and safeInterested in learning more? Additional details regarding this position can be found in the position description.Work Schedule and Additional Information:Full-time employment, 40 hours per weekWork hours are 2nd shift (2:45 PM to 11:15 PM), with a $1.25 per hour shift differential and a 30-minute lunch. You will work a rotating schedule that includes weekends and holidays as assigned. Check your email, including spam/junk folders, for these notices.Required Experience, Training & Eligibility:QualificationsMinimum Experience and Training Requirements:Successful completion of the Aide Trainee program (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); orSix months of experience in the care, activities, and personal guidance of individuals with mental health or physical illness or disabilities; orCertification as a Nurse Aide or Nursing Assistant through the Pennsylvania Department of Health.Other Requirements:You must meet the PA residency requirement.
