Job Description\ N Psychiatric LPN \ N Setting: Healthcare Facilities\ N Job Type: Travel\ N Pay: $1540 / Week\ N Hours: 36.00\ N Location: Kinston, NC\ N
The Psychiatric or Mental/Behavioral Health LPN is responsible and accountable for the application of the nursing process and the delivery of patient care in the psychiatric unit of a hospital, mental health/behavioral health hospital, or they can be responsible for care in community settings.
\ NThe LPN must demonstrate the ability to make clinical judgments in an effective and efficient manner with the supervision of a Registered Nurse and in collaboration with the care team.
\ NMinimum Requirements:
\ N Current LPN license in state of assignment
\ N 1 year experience in a psychiatric or behavioral health care setting preferred
\ N Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
\ N Current CPR if applicable
\ N TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
\ N Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
\ N Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
\ N Must be at least 18 years of age
