Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner – Board Certified(PMHNP-BC)
Compensation:
Fee for service
Compensation will reflect experience and training.
Responsibilities for PMHNP-BC:
Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments
Diagnose and treat a wide range of mental health conditions
Create individualized treatment plans
Provide psychotherapy using CBT and DBT techniques
Manage and prescribe psychiatric medications
Educate patients and families on mental health and medication
Collaborate with healthcare professionals
Handle crisis intervention and patient stabilization
Complete and lock EMR documentation within 48 hours
Requirements:
Master’s degree or higher in Nursing
Minimum of 3 years experience as a psychiatric nurse practitioner
Completed 3600 hours for independent practice or supervision agreement
Licensed in NY as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
Board certified and holds an active NY DEA license
