Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner In Charlottesville, VA

Role Overview
Full-time (3.5 days/week) within Monday – Friday
Enjoy stability, support, and flexibility with onsite patient care and remote documentation
No nights or weekends
Conduct psychiatric evaluations, diagnostic assessments, and mental status examinations
Diagnose and treat psychiatric, behavioral, and neurocognitive disorders in older adults
Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications
Evaluate behavioral and safety concerns
Provide brief interventions and behavioral management
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams across care settings
Coverage area includes Lynchburg and Appomattox, Virginia
Compensation and Benefits
Estimated compensation range of $80,000 – $110,000 annually with no cap on productivity income
Back-end infrastructure and clinical support provided
Qualifications
Active, unrestricted Virginia license as a PMHNP-C
Active DEA or willingness to obtain
All experience levels as a PMHNP welcome to apply
Experience with older adults or post-acute care preferred
Industry-leading onboarding training program
