Overview
HEALTHY COMMUNITIES. COMPASSIONATE CARE. Ozarks Community Hospital in Decatur, AR has an immediate opening for a full-time Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner within our Decatur Clinic.

Specialty clinic services include Pediatrics, Women’s Health, Diabetes Care, Hepatitis C, Urology, Geriatrics, Pain Management, and the FLAG (Fatty Liver and Goals) Clinic.

Job Summary
Performs patient care focusing on individual differences, abnormal behavior, mental disorders and their prevention and improvement of patient lifestyles. This is realized through counseling and psychotherapeutic services. Serves as a consultant to other healthcare personnel.
Requirements
NP Registered Nurse Practitioner – State Board of Registered Nursing required.
Focus/Specialty - Psychiatric/mental health required.
Specialty Certifications - ANCC American Nurses Credentialing Center required.
Three years previous experience in psychiatric/medical social work is required.
Substance abuse and/or addiction experience preferred.
Must hold a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross. Recertification required before expiration throughout employment.
