Job description
Position: Registered Nurse (RN) – Psych ED / Emergency Department
Start Dates: 11/02 or 11/16
Location: Durham, NC
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 36 Hours/Week, Every Other Weekend Required
Charting System: Epic
Scrub Color: Royal Blue
PAY DETAILS:
Hourly Pay: $50 - $60/hr
Required Experience
Minimum 2 years of Psychiatric Emergency Department experience
Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience
Prior travel experience required
Experience managing patients with acute psychiatric and behavioral health emergencies
Strong de-escalation and crisis intervention skills
Required Certifications
BLS
ACLS
PALS
CPI (required or willing to obtain during compliance)
NIHSS
Special Requirements
Must pass onsite EKG/Telemetry Exam
Flu Vaccine Required (No Exemptions)
Floating to Medical ED required
Every Other Weekend Required
No On-Call
One supervisory reference from the last year required
