About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionatePsychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our team as an independent contractor. This position offers unmatched flexibility, with opportunities to provide psychiatric care through telehealth, in-office sessions, or a combination of both. The ideal candidate is dedicated to improving mental health outcomes, committed to patient-centered care, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychiatric evaluations, diagnostic assessments, and ongoing medication management for patients.
Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients and care teams.
Provide telepsychiatry and/or in-office visits based on patient needs and practitioner availability.
Monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
Document patient encounters in compliance with clinical, legal, and regulatory standards.
Collaborate with therapists, primary care providers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care.
Qualifications:
ActiveColorado state license as a Nurse Practitioner withpsychiatric/mental health specialization (PMHNP-BC required).
Current DEA registration and prescriptive authority in Colorado.
Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in psychiatric/mental health care preferred (new graduates with strong clinical experience will be considered).
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with diverse patient populations.
Comfortable using telehealth platforms and electronic medical records.
