About the Facility
This inpatient facility is seeking psychiatric APP coverage to support its adult behavioral health population. The facility maintains clinical protocols and resources to support continuity of inpatient psychiatric care delivery. No call coverage is required as part of this locum tenens assignment.
About the Facility Location
The area serves as a regional hub offering a range of community events throughout the year, including live performances, comedy shows, craft expos, scavenger hunts, and family-oriented activities. The downtown district anchors much of the local activity, with established venues hosting gatherings on a consistent basis. The area experiences four distinct seasons, with summers reaching highs around 81 degrees Fahrenheit and winters bringing overnight lows that average around 10 degrees Fahrenheit.
About the Clinicians Workday
Clinicians in this role will provide full-time inpatient psychiatric services for an adult population, working day shifts Monday through Friday, totaling 40 hours per week on-site. Clinical responsibilities include conducting psychiatric evaluations and providing medication management for acute adult patients within the inpatient unit. A caseload of 8-12 patients per day is anticipated. A valid state NP license, board certification, and prescriptive authority are required for all clinicians considered for this position.
