Locum tenens coverage is sought for a qualified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to support clinical operations on an ongoing basis.
About the Facility Location Northeastern Connecticut, often called the Quiet Corner, spans approximately 521 square miles across Windham County and parts of Tolland and New London counties, encompassing 16 towns with a population of roughly 96,000 residents. About the Clinician's Workday Clinicians in this role will provide full-time inpatient psychiatric services on a day shift schedule, totaling 40 hours per week at an on-site behavioral health facility. The caseload is divided approximately evenly between adult patients and child and adolescent patients, with clinicians seeing 10-12 patients per day. Clinical responsibilities include conducting psychiatric evaluations and providing medication management across all age groups. No call coverage is required for this assignment.
