The program employs a multi-disciplinary, multi-cultural, and multi-linguistic staff - including psychologists, psychiatrists, licensed mental health professionals, Master's level therapists, and Bachelor's level personnel - supervised by licensed clinical experts. Support staff on-site include therapists and LVNs to facilitate continuity and coordination of care. About the Facility Location Van Nuys is the most populous neighborhood in the San Fernando Valley, offering a range of cultural and recreational attractions suited to varied interests. Points of interest include the Valley Relics Museum, the Sepulveda Basin Wildlife Reserve, Woodley Park, and the Japanese Garden with its waterfalls and lakes. Clinicians on assignment will also find access to golf courses, ice skating at Iceland Ice Skating Rink, and nearby destinations such as Universal Studios Hollywood, The Getty, and Griffith Park within a short distance. About the Clinician's Workday Clinicians in this role will provide part-time outpatient psychiatric services for a patient population spanning all ages, working 8-hour day shifts on Mondays or Wednesdays from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM each week. Onsite coverage is preferred; hybrid or tele coverage is also considered. Clinical responsibilities include conducting initial psychiatric evaluations (60-90 minutes per evaluation) and providing medication management follow-up appointments (30 minutes per visit), with approximately 90% of the caseload consisting of adolescent patients ages 13-17 and the remaining 10% adults. Call coverage is negotiable for this assignment.
