An established behavioral health program in Eastern Connecticut, 30 minutes east of Hartford, is seeking a full-time BC/BE Psychiatrist to provide direct patient care in an inpatient setting.
Position Highlights:
Full-time inpatient psychiatry opportunity
Provide direct patient care in a 55+bed behavioral health hospital
Care for adults with mental illness and substance use disorders
Strong multidisciplinary team approach
Collegial, collaborative work environment
Trauma- and recovery-oriented model of care
Hospital provides inpatient services to more than 1,300 adults annually
Loan repayment eligible
Physician leadership development opportunities
Dedicated provider wellness resources
Qualifications: Experience or training in adult inpatient and evaluation services
Experience working with a multidisciplinary team
Board certified or board eligible in Psychiatry; BE candidates must be within 5 years of residency
Connecticut Department of Public Health medical license
DEA registration
Connecticut Controlled Substance Registration (CCSR)
