Job description
The Psychiatrist position is located at the James E. Van Zandt Medical Center within the VA health care system, focusing on prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of behavioral, addictive and emotional disorders.
Duties include admission decisions, history and mental status exams, evaluation and pharmacotherapy/psychotherapy, crisis intervention, detox management, and collaboration with care teams under VA guidelines. EDRP incentives and full benefits available.
