Position Summary
The facility is seeking a Psychiatrist to join its expanding Behavioral Health team in Bronx, New York. This is a full-time opportunity .The role focuses primarily on outpatient behavioral health services, with opportunities to collaborate closely with therapists, social workers, and primary care providers to ensure coordinated, whole-person care.

Essential Position Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments.
Diagnose and manage a wide range of mental health conditions including depression, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, PTSD, and substance use disorders.
Provide medication management and ongoing treatment planning.
Collaborate with psychologists, social workers, primary care providers, and other specialists to ensure integrated care.
Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans.
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment as needed.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic health record (EHR).
Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
Education:
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
Board Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry.
Licensure: Active or eligible medical license in New York.
DEA registration (or eligibility).
Experience: Prior outpatient psychiatry experience preferred.
Residents completing training are encouraged to apply.
