Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatrist to join our outpatient behavioral health team in Northwest Indiana. This role focuses on delivering high-quality, patient-centered psychiatric care to individuals of all ages, including adults, adolescents, and children.
You’ll work within a multidisciplinary team to assess, diagnose, and treat a range of mental health conditions—playing a key role in improving the well-being of our community.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments
Develop individualized treatment plans and prescribe medications
Provide ongoing medication management and follow-up care
Collaborate with therapists, case managers, and primary care providers
Participate in clinical team meetings and case consultations
Rotate on-call duties as scheduled
Qualifications
MD or DO with an active Indiana medical license
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
Completed Psychiatry residency program
DEA license to prescribe controlled substances
Strong understanding of psychopharmacology and evidence-based practices
Experience in outpatient or community mental health preferred
