This hospital is part of one of New England's largest and most integrated behavioral health systems, offering a comprehensive continuum of psychiatric services. The facility features a 22-bed adult inpatient unit supported by an experienced multidisciplinary team, with additional services spanning emergency psychiatry, consult-liaison, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, and outpatient behavioral health clinics serving adults, children, and adolescents.

Physician - Psychiatry
Job Details:
Provide inpatient psychiatric care for adults with a broad range of psychiatric conditions on a 22-bed adult inpatient unit
Collaborate with an experienced multidisciplinary treatment team in a physician-led, collaborative practice environment
Participate in psychiatry resident supervision and medical student education
Eligible for an academic appointment through the University of Connecticut School of Medicine
Monday through Friday schedule with no required after-hours call
Optional moonlighting opportunities available for additional income
Access to a Provider Leadership Development Institute for professional growth
Dedicated support through an Office of Provider Wellness
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry required
MD or DO degree required with eligibility for an unrestricted Connecticut medical license
Interest in academic psychiatry, teaching, and leadership preferred
Commitment to patient-centered, evidence-based behavioral healthcare
Compensation:
