Opportunity Details:
Provide psychiatric management for adults, age 18 and up, in an acute inpatient setting.
Develop treatment plans and manage electronic medical record (EPIC) in accordance with New York State Office of Mental Health and other applicable regulations.
Work with consultants as indicated by patient needs.
Lead and collaborate with amulti-disciplinary inpatient team.
SuperviseNurse Practitioners, Psychiatry Residents, and Medical Students.
Managecomplex cases.
Participate in didactic training programs for psychiatric residents, medical students, psychology interns, and other trainees.
Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement activities.
Qualifications
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry.
Active New York State Medical License.
Wages and Benefits include:
Annual Base Salary: $267,900* (board eligible); $278,200* (board certified) based on 40-hour work week. Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours.
The annual total value of the compensation package is estimated at $438,690** (board eligible) and $450,020** (board certified) , which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution, sessional/per diem hours, and other factors as set forth below:
Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours worked per week is $104,000***.
Projected bonus of up to $40,000 (based on previous year’s average), contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets.
401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits):Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
Annual Continuing Medical Education (CME) Reimbursement.
