Job DescriptionJob Title: Psychiatrist \ N
Location: Leavittsburg OH 44430 \ N
Shift: 08:00am-05:00pm (M-F) \ N
Hours: 40 hours per week \ N
Pay Rate: $150/hr.- $170/hr. on w2 \ N
Duration: 6 months to long term \ N
Start Date: TBD, upon completion of credentialing \ N
Key Responsibilities: \ N
Searching for a board-eligible or board-certified Ohio-licensed psychiatrist to provide on-site services on a full-time basis to the men at this prison. Schedule is weekdays with no nights, weekends, or holidays. Start/end times have some flexibility based on facility need. On-call coverage is not required. Selected psychiatrist will meet with 12-16 patients per 8-hour shift.\ N

Working collaboratively with intra and interdepartmental staff to administer treatment for behavioral health patients utilizing nationally recognized treatment standards and documenting utilizing an electronic health record system\ N
Conducting exams and writing evaluations and reports\ N
Ordering and interpreting diagnostic testing\ N
Managing medication
\ NMaking referrals for specialized care or treatment\ N
Performing duties in accordance with scope of practice, ODRC policies, procedures, protocols, and related American Correctional Association standards\ N
Participating in continuous quality improvement meetings and activities, including peer reviews\ N
Engaging in collaborative agreements, as needed.\ N
Requirements :\ N
Active Ohio Medical License\ N
Healthcare-level BLS/CPR\ N
DEA certification
\ NAmerican Board Certification
