Duration: 12 Months to Long-Term \ N
Schedule: 07:00 AM to 5:00 PM, 20 Hours/Week \ N
Summary: \ N
Searching for a Board-Eligible or Board-Certified Psychiatrist to provide on-site services on a part-time basis (16-20 hours/week) to the male incarcerated population.
\ N Schedule is flexible based on needs of facility, but core hours are typically between 7:00 a.M. and 5:00 p.M.
\ N Selected psychiatrist will meet with 12-16 patients per 8-hour shift.
\ N Caseload is 75-100 patients.
\ N Assignment could lead to permanent hire.
\ N
Job Responsibilities: \ N
Working collaboratively with intra and interdepartmental staff to administer treatment for behavioral health patients utilizing nationally recognized treatment standards and documenting utilizing an electronic health record system
\ N Conducting exams and writing evaluations and reports
\ N Ordering and interpreting diagnostic testing
\ N Managing medication
\ N Making referrals for specialized care or treatment
\ N Performing duties in accordance with scope of practice, Client policies, procedures, protocols, and related American Correctional Association standards
\ N Participating in continuous quality improvement meetings and activities, including peer reviews
\ N Engaging in collaborative agreements, as needed
\ N
RequiredQualifications: \ N
Ohio Medical License.
\ N Healthcare-professionallevel BLS/CPR certification.
\ N Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Certification.
\ N
