About the Facility
Two hospital facilities require locum tenens coverage for inpatient psychiatry services, with one psychiatrist needed at each location. Both facilities maintain established clinical protocols and resources to support continuity of inpatient psychiatric care delivery for an adult population. Locum tenens coverage is sought on an ongoing basis beginning as soon as the selected clinician is credentialed.

About the Clinicians Workday
Clinicians in this role will provide full-time inpatient psychiatric services for an adult population, working day shifts Monday through Friday, totaling 40 hours per week on-site. Clinical responsibilities include rounding on patients presenting with various psychiatric conditions, managing a daily census of approximately 8 - 12 patients, and delivering medication management and treatment planning within the inpatient setting. The caseload includes both voluntary and involuntary admissions, with court hearings conducted virtually or on-site; average length of stay ranges from approximately 5.5 to 11 days. No call coverage is required for this assignment.
