Job Details: Job Location: Pontiac Correctional Center - Pontiac, IL 61764, Position Type: Full-Time, Education Level: Professional Degree, Job Shift: Day, Job Category: Medical Physician & Advanced Practice Provider, Centurion Health is proud to be the NEW provider of healthcare services to the Illinois Department of Corrections.
We are currently seeking a full-time, onsite Psychiatrist to join our team at Pontiac Correctional Center located in Pontiac, Illinois.
The Psychiatrist provides psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis and treatment for patients, works under the supervision of the Psychiatric Medical Director, and provides clinical leadership for a multidisciplinary team in providing mental health services to patients with psychiatric disorders or other mental health issues.
Annual salary starting at $380,000 or higher based on years of experience.
Qualifications:
Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school required
Active, unrestricted MD/DO Illinois license or ability to obtain
Active, unrestricted DEA
Ability to pass credentialing, drug screening and background check
BC/BE in a Psychiatry specialty is required
