Job Description
We are seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Psychiatrist to join our compassionate Behavioral Health team. This role is ideal for a skilled and thoughtful provider with a passion for serving patients across the lifespan. Responsibilities include conducting psychiatric evaluations, managing treatment plans, prescribing medication, and collaborating with our multi-disciplinary mental health team to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care. * Provide expert psychiatric care for mental health conditions
* Conduct evaluations, diagnostic assessments, and medication management
* Collaborate with psychologists, therapists, and primary care teams
* Maintain EMR documentation in a timely and thorough manner
* Contribute to holistic care that emphasizes dignity and long-term wellness
Collaborative Teamwork
* Participate in integrated care initiatives with other RRH departments
* Leverage support from case managers, RNs, and administrative staff
* Join a team that values compassionate communication and teamwork
* Help advance Behavioral Health access in a rural community setting
Qualifications
* MD or DO from an accredited institution
* Board-certified or board-eligible in Psychiatry Psychiatry
* Active California medical license or ability to obtain
* Strong communication and team collaboration skills
* Experience in rural or community mental health settings is a plus
