Job description
Skills / Passion Human Resources & Pastoral Care, Medical and Health
To develop, facilitate and take part in psychiatric post‑graduate training for PMHP doctors in the Primary Mental Health Project (PMHP). Responsible for: training of doctors in Primary Mental Health; developing the training curriculum and materials for post‑graduate training in PMHP; taking part in further development of the mental health work in the organisation.
Responsibilities
Giving theoretical and clinical training sessions to doctors and possibly nurses
Consultancy for difficult cases, leading case presentations
Developing materials and curriculum for the training
Cooperating with different stakeholders involved in national medical training
Qualifications
Qualified psychiatrist (adult psychiatry and possibly child psychiatry) with work experience
A PhD would be an advantage
Experience in post‑graduate training
Experience/interest in working in a developing country
Desired skills
Needs a good knowledge of English, willing to learn the local language, training skills. Ideally someone who enjoys training and building the capacity of others. Responsible, flexible, a natural developer with self‑initiative; and who enjoys working in a multicultural team.
