Title: Contract Psychiatrist (Inpatient Forensic / Correctional)
Location: Adult men’s state correctional facility – Chowchilla, CA
Contract Type: 6–12 month relief contract (ASAP start)
Schedule: In-person, any two days Mon-Fri, 7 a.m.–5 p.m. (2x10s) for at least 6 months
Earning Potential: $300-655k/year depending on part time or full time status

Top Qualifications
MD or DO required; Board Certified / Board Eligible in Psychiatry.
Active California medical license and active California DEA.
At least 12 months of adult psychiatry experience in the last 3 years (inpatient or high-acuity preferred).
BLS certification and medical malpractice insurance required.
Experience in correctional / forensic psychiatry and comfort with high-acuity, justice‑involved patients.
Familiarity with Cerner EHR.
