The Opportunity
Two PRN lines on a 20-bed geriatric psychiatry unit in Northwest Philadelphia. Weekday days, paid per encounter, with an APP on the unit and a defined patient population. If you're semi-retired, building a practice around other commitments, or want geriatric psychiatry exposure without a full appointment, these lines are designed to be picked up cleanly.
What You'll Own
Per-encounter work on a defined 20-bed unit you know the scope before you arrive.
Weekday days. No nights, no weekend requirement on the PRN lines.
An APP already on the unit , so coverage doesn't start from zero.
A stable, familiar population rather than a rotating unknown census.
Must-Haves
MD or DO
Board certified or board eligible in Psychiatry
Pennsylvania license, or eligibility in process
Nice to Have
Geriatric psychiatry experience
Availability for recurring weekday blocks
Epic familiarity

Licensure is faster than you expect if you're coming from out of state. Pennsylvania participates in the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact, so if you already hold a qualifying license elsewhere, adding this one typically runs one to three weeks rather than months.
