Job description
Under limited supervision by the Chief Medical Officer, the Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant provides comprehensive psychiatric care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with mental health disorders. Works collaboratively with physicians, therapists, and other health professionals to deliver integrated behavioral healthcare. Provider functions in accordance with his/her collaborative practice agreement signed by the collaborating physician as required by the South Carolina Nurse Practice Act/South Carolina Board of Medical Examiners.
