Job description
Permanent Psychiatric NP Job Outpatient Care in Upstate New York
Assignment Highlights:
Schedule: Monday-Friday preferred; flexible 4-day workweek available (Fridays required)
Patient Population: Primarily adults; must be able to see patients aged 13+
Setting: Outpatient behavioral health in a rural location
Clinical Focus: Psychiatric care and Substance Use Disorder (SUD) experience strongly preferred
Salary between $180,000-$200,000
Facility prefers onsite but is open to telehealth for the right provider
Duties Include:
One-hour psychiatric evaluations
15-20 minute medication management appointments
Collaborate under the supervision of a psychiatrist
EMR: Netsmart myEvolv
Start Date: ASAP
Credentialing: Approximately 3-4 weeks
Role Type: Replacing a current NP who has submitted their notice
Candidate Requirements:
Active New York Medicaid credentials
PMHNP certification with experience treating adolescents
