Job Summary
nInpatient Psychiatry - Adult (Onsite only)
nJob Duties
nGeisinger has formed a joint venture partnership with Acadia to build and operate two behavioral health facilities, one in each of its Central and Northeast Pennsylvania regions. These facilities serve as acute care hubs of an enterprise system of behavioral health care.

nnnProviders are employed by Geisinger.

nnCenters are contemporary, freestanding health care facilities designed and constructed using advanced approaches to quality and safety.
n
nnServe both adult and pediatric populations.
n
nnOffer Partial Hospitalization Programs, Intensive Outpatient Programs and Brain Stimulation Therapy.
n
nnIndividuals benefitting from these services will carry common psychiatric diagnoses including but not limited to: Major Depression, Bipolar Disorder, Anxiety Disorders, Trauma-Related Disorders, Schizophrenia and Schizoaffective Disorder, and Substance- Use Disorders.
n
nnLicensed initially for 96 inpatient beds and have the capacity to add an additional 48 beds in the future.

nnBoth facilities are approximately 72,00 square feet.
n
nnEPIC electronic medical record documentation.
n
n nWork is typically performed in a clinical and office environment. Accountable for satisfying all job specific obligations and complying with all organization policies and procedures.
