Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Opening Cooperstown, NYFull TimePermanent PositionSeeking experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join behavioral health team in Cooperstown, New YorkPosition Highlights:Work within comprehensive psychiatry department including: - Inpatient psychiatry unit expanding from 14 to 20 beds - Emergency department psychiatric consult services - Medical-surgical inpatient consult services - Outpatient psychiatry clinics and telepsychiatry servicesCollaborative psychiatric team of physicians and PMHNPsDiverse patient population including children, adolescents, and adultsCombination of diagnostic evaluation, medication management, and crisis interventionAcademic healthcare network affiliated with Columbia UniversityResponsibilities:Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and treatmentManage psychiatric medications and treatment plansProvide crisis intervention servicesCollaborate with multidisciplinary behavioral health teamsMaintain accurate and timely documentationQualifications:Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner certification requiredExperience treating adult psychiatric patient population requiredActive New York license or ability to obtainCompensation & Benefits:Competitive compensation range: $130,000 - $145,000Sign-on bonus up to $50,000Medical, dental, and vision insuranceRetirement plan optionsPaid time offContinuing medical education (CME) support Estimated pay range/amount is $122,738 - $150,599.
