Job description
Seeking a BC/BE Psychiatrist to join an established inpatient behavioral health team in southeastern Alabama within a large regional referral hospital system providing comprehensive adult psychiatric care in a multidisciplinary setting.
Practice Highlights: Inpatient psychiatry only
Collaborative team model with psychiatrists, psychiatric nurses, counselors, and social workers
Structured staffing model: 4 psychiatrists across 2 teams (2 per team)
Block schedule: 14 days on / 14 days off
Shared after-hours call during each rotation
Dedicated programs for intensive treatment and mood & anxiety disorders
25+bed behavioral health unit
Internal Medicine Hospitalist group manages medical care of Psychiatric inpatients
Opportunity to precept medical students and residents
