Job description
Role:
Psychiatry Physician providing inpatient adult mental health care on a locum tenens basis.
Responsibilities:
Deliver psychiatric evaluations, develop treatment plans, and manage patient care within an inpatient setting. Ensure compliance with facility protocols and maintain effective communication with healthcare teams.
Qualifications:
Active New York medical license, minimum 1 year of experience, BLS and DEA certification. Prior inpatient psychiatric experience is required.
Skills:
Strong clinical judgment, excellent communication, ability to work independently, and adaptability to hospital protocols.
Key Duties:
Cover inpatient adult psychiatry needs, work weekdays with shifts from evening to early morning, and contribute to patient recovery and safety.
Additional Info:
Credentialing takes 4-6 weeks. The role offers competitive pay and comprehensive support
