Locum Tenens Adult Psychiatrist Inpatient Psychiatry Ogdensburg, New York
Description We are seeking a Locum Tenens Adult Psychiatrist to provide full-time inpatient psychiatric services in Ogdensburg, NY. The position involves caring for adult psychiatric patients in an inpatient setting with a maximum caseload of 20 patients per provider .

Job Responsibilities Conduct psychiatric evaluations and admissions
Manage patient discharges
Provide medication management
Provide routine and follow-up psychiatric care
Attend morning meetings
Participate in weekly treatment team meetings
Participate in ward meetings as needed
Address legal matters, including: Involuntary retention
Treatment over objection
Respond to psychiatric emergencies and codes
Review and sign test results and consults
Collaborate with medical providers and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care
Qualifications Minimum 1 year of Psychiatry experience
Adult inpatient psychiatry experience preferred
Must be able to manage a maximum caseload of 20 patients
Physician qualified to provide adult inpatient psychiatric care
Working Hours Full-time
40 hours per week
Monday Friday
8:00 AM 4:30 PM
No weekend coverage required
