"Psychiatry Opportunity: Oswego, NY Benefits Salary range of $380K to $400K
$100K sign-on bonus
Relocation reimbursement up to $10K with receipts
Student loan assistance of $30K over the length of the contract, if applicable
38 days of PTO and CME time, including 6 legal holidays
Health, dental, vision, 403B, life and disability
$5,500 annual CME, dues and licensure reimbursement
Malpractice paid by Oswego Health
Qualifications Board certified or board eligible, with intent to sit for boards
Visa sponsorship candidates accepted
Candidates available in 2026 or 2027
Position Details 3-year employment agreement
Outpatient, adult and/or adolescent, across three outpatient locations in Oswego County
In person, Monday to Friday, 7:00a to 7:00p office hours; open to four longer days
Panel of 175 to 225 patients: medication management and psychiatric evaluations with a therapist
About 14 to 20 patients per day; 90 minutes for new evaluations, 15 to 30 minutes for follow-ups
7 days of call per month in the base contract: 5 weekdays and 2 weekend days (weekend runs 5p Friday to 7a Monday)
Call is mostly phone and telemedicine, with occasional in-person restraints
Saturday and Sunday inpatient rounding on call weekends
Replaces a retiring psychiatrist; joins 2 full-time psychiatrists
