South-Central Alaska Flexible Schedule Medical Director Option Strong Recruitment Package
A well-established healthcare organization in south-central Alaska is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Psychiatrist to join its inpatient behavioral health team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a psychiatrist looking for a hospital-employed position with flexible scheduling, strong APP support, and the option to take on a Medical Director role . The position is primarily adult-focused, with occasional adolescent patients.
Hospital-employed psychiatry position
Inpatient behavioral health
Primarily adult patient population with occasional adolescents
Choice of schedule:7 days on / 7 days off , or
Monday through Friday
Supported by three advanced practice providers
Inpatient-focused role with plans to expand outpatient services
Medical Director opportunity available , if desired
Experienced psychiatrists and new graduates are encouraged to apply
