We are seeking a Permanent Inpatient Psychiatrist in Troy, New York.
Job description Med Ninjas is seeking an Inpatient Psychiatrist for long term locum tenens coverage at a inpatient facility located in Troy, NY
The Physician must be available for the complete coverage block from Start Date to end date

Position Details:
Patient Population: Adult psychiatric patients
Setting: 30-bed inpatient adult mental health unit at Samaritan Hospital
Responsibilities: Provide inpatient psychiatric care across Mental Health, MICA, and Gero-Psychiatry units; collaborate with hospitalists, specialists, community providers, counselors, therapists, case managers, NPs, and psychiatrists
Required Procedures: Inpatient psychiatric evaluation and management
EMR System: Not specified
Support Staff: Multidisciplinary behavioral health team
Days Per Month: Full-time
On-Call/Weekends: Shared 1:6 weekend call rotation
Submission Requirements:
Truly Board Eligible or Board Certified in Psychiatry
New York State Medical License or eligibility
DEA license, required prior to start
Most recent NPDB Self Query Report within 30 days, required at presentation
