Job description
General Summary Provides psychiatric services to patients in the behavioral health network. Treatment is provided through a variety of levels of care. The psychiatrist is the primary provider of psychiatric assessment and intervention and ensures the patient's psychiatric needs are adequately and effectively met.

Job Title: Adult Psychiatrist - Inpatient
Location: York, Pennsylvania
Employment Type: Full-time
What You?ll Champion:
Join a well-established group of four experienced psychiatrists, fostering a supportive environment focused on clinical excellence, teamwork, and high-quality patient outcomes.
Provide inpatient psychiatric care for adults, typically managing a caseload of 13-16 patients
Participate in all aspects of treatment planning and care delivery working closely with a multidisciplinary team that collaborates with our Advanced practice providers
Teaching opportunities available with medical students and residents.
Monday-Friday schedule 8am-4:30pm
VOLUNTARY Weeknight call (Mon-Thurs) phone calls only and Weekend (Sat & Sun) call onsite

Qualifications
Minimum Education:
Doctor of Medicine (MD) Required or
Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Required
Licenses:
Licensed Medical Physician and Surgeon Upon Hire Required or
Licensed Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Upon Hire Required
Courses and Training:
Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry or the American Osteopathic Board of Psychiatry. Upon Hire Required and
Completion of a Psychiatry residency and a fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. (Not applicable for Adult Programs) Upon Hire Required and
Must qualify and be a member of the Medical Staff. Upon Hire Required
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Teaching skills.
