Psychiatry | PRN | Macon

Piedmont Healthcare is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible Psychiatrist PRN to join our growing behavioral health team. This is an In-patient position.

Position Highlights:

Primary outpatient psychiatry

Assist in coverage of inpatient services as needed

Expected schedule: PRN

Required to supervise mid-levels (APP's)

Opportunities to pick up additional shifts for consults via telehealth and/or in-person across the Piedmont system

Open to supervision of medical students

Call (if needed) for outpatient clinic

Epic EMR

Qualifications:

Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution

Board-certified or board-eligible in Psychiatry

Active or eligible for medical licensure in Georgia

Experience supervising APP's is preferred

Strong clinical and leadership skills Provide evaluation and management of psychiatric patients

Previous experience with ketamine and TMS preferred

Experience treating both adults and adolescents preferred
