Job description
Physical Therapist - Skilled Nursing Unit
This is a full-time position with an 8-hour day shift, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
Thomas Ortho Campus, St. Francis
The Physical Therapist will work primarily in the Skilled Nursing Unit (SNU) and may also provide care in the Joint Connection Unit. The position involves assessing and treating a range of patients in a 19-bed unit, providing high-quality physical therapy to support patient recovery and rehabilitation.
Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for patients.
Implement therapy interventions and monitor patient progress.
Collaborate with healthcare team members across all hospital floors.
Document patient care and treatment outcomes in the MEDITECH charting system.
Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding rehabilitation processes.
Current Physical Therapist License or Temporary License through the West Virginia Board of Physical Therapists or Compact License.
BLS certification (AHA) required.
