Outpatient Physical Therapist
Job Description
The Outpatient Physical Therapist will evaluate all assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify treatment plans in accordance with patient needs, goals, and physician direction. This role involves the delegation and direction of all discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients, ensuring design of functional treatment programs for effective community reintegration. The therapist will also serve as an educator for patients, families, students, and coworkers while upholding the standards of the organization.
Responsibilities
Complete comprehensive evaluations of patients.
Utilize clinical reasoning to develop appropriate treatment plans and goals.
Document patient care in a clear, concise, and timely manner according to regulations.
Ensure the provision of care under signed, valid physician orders.
Participate in student education programs as appropriate.
Develop and pursue a professional development plan in collaboration with clinical management.
Adhere to the discipline-specific State Practice Act and maintain professional licensure.
Demonstrate awareness of performance improvement initiatives and provide feedback accordingly.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
1+ year of outpatient clinical experience.
Current CPR certification.
Schedule
This is a 5x8.0 schedule, beginning ASAP with a typical shift pattern.
