Outpatient Orthopedic Physical Therapist
Location: Winchester, VA
Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule: 8-hour day shift, 36 hours guaranteed with the expectation of working up to 40 hours. Overtime must be approved by the director before any hours are worked.
Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Outpatient Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have outpatient experience and will be responsible for the evaluation, planning, and implementation of therapy interventions for orthopedic patients. The position will involve floating to other clinics as needed.
Responsibilities:
Evaluate patients and develop personalized treatment plans.
Provide therapy interventions to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Maintain a productivity expectation of 60 visits per week.
Manage a caseload of 12-14 patients per day, with double-booking of follow-up visits expected.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
Current PT license in the state of Virginia.
Outpatient experience is preferred; new graduates are welcome to apply.
No PTA candidates will be accepted for this role.
